PSYCHOLOGICAL SERVICES FEES
Ginelle is committed to providing accessible and high quality psychological treatment. Fees are set below those recommended by the Australian Psychological Society (APS). You may be eligible for a Medicare rebate for sessions with a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) referral from your GP.
*MEDICARE BULK BILLING ELIGIBILITY
Ginelle understands how important it is to get access to mental health support when you need it the most. That’s why she provides bulk-billed sessions to those with a valid Medicare card living in Australia that meet certain criteria, including if:

you qualify for an Australian Heath Care concession card;

you are experiencing financial hardship;

you live in a Rural or Remote area; and/or
-
you are Aboriginal or Torres Strait islander.
OBTAINING A MENTAL HEALTH CARE PLAN
A Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) must be obtained from your GP (valid for up to 10 sessions). You must obtain your GP referral prior to your first appointment in order to receive Medicare rebates.
To obtain a referral, you will need to make an appointment with your GP to complete a Mental Health Care Plan. When requesting an appointment with your GP, let them know that you require a referral to a psychologist as the GP may need approximately 30 minutes to discuss and complete the plan with you.
